Arlene wanted to be anywhere but where she was at the moment. The Matlin house was nothing but trouble, especially since the Anti-Grapevine exposed her. Now people were giving her dirty looks and she just didn’t feel like doing anything with anyone. The young girl squeezed out the door to the house, breathing in the cold winter air as she zipped her jacket. She closed her eyes and breathed in the cold Toronto air, snarling when the door opened behind her. “I came out here to be alone.” She spat at the person who had joined her.
Tori had just gotten done spending time with Jack, the cold out in the backyard having made her a little more sober. When she’d gone back inside though, entering the living room she’d heard people talking about the garden. After eavesdropping for a few moments she pieced it together. Arlene. That little fucking bitch, Tori was going to kill her. Asking one of the people in the group where Arlene was after a moment, she got an answer. Without even thinking about it, the older girl headed front door, slipping out quietly. At Arlene’s voice though, she stepped closer to her, her voice hitting a notch she didn’t even think it could. “I don’t really give a fuck what you came out here to do, bitch.” she spat back quickly, stepping back slightly praying that the younger girl would turn around. Katie had cried over that garden, and Tori was going to making Arlene pay.
