Marisol was a little taken back by the girl’s reaction. She wasn’t one for dramatics, at least from what Marisol had seen. “Apparently disappeared? Doesn’t sound like someone you’d go for.” She sat in the chair besides Tori, starting to wonder why she was sitting in the room alone. “It’s fine, really. So.. Whose got you all wind up ready to snap o everyone?”
“Well, I really like said person, which is silly of me because, it clearly may not even work out.” Chewing at her bottom lip, she looked at the other girl as she sat, Tori couldn’t help but blink, still trying to get accustomed to the fact that calming drugs they had given her at the hospital the other night were still making her a little tired. “Um.. No one really importnant. Just a–” Girl? Could she tell Marisol who she was with? Probably not. “A person.. I’m just kind of tired.”
Marisol had wandered around the “party” long enough. She smiled and pretended to enjoy it for looks when on the inside she was cringing. She couldn’t believe Simpson had planned this, but as a member of Power Squad and Katie’s second in command she had to pretend that she was in full support of this night. She moved into the gym, hoping to get some fresh air until she noticed Tori. At least it wasn’t a Greaser to disturb her piece. “Whoa there Tor, just wondering why you’re out here alone.”
Blinking over at Marisol, the curly haired girl sighed. She hadn’t meant to snap, not really at least, the other girl was nice enough when it came to other socs. Shrugging her shoulders to the question, she sighed again. “The music is ridiculously loud in there, and my date has apparently disappeared.” Chewing at her lip Tori, smiled more gently at the older girl. “I’m actually really sorry for snapping.”
