Arlene: [ landed on the ground below her window with a groan. She rolled on her side as she started to rise, the fall waking her up harshly. She scampered past her house and ran towards the school, paying careful attention to her surroundings and Tori. She lived on the bad side of town, and though she wasn't scared to be out during the day, night was a whole other story. Drug deals, murders; they all took place in the middle of the night, and they were more common in her neighborhood than any other. She didn't overestimate herself or her ability to defend herself. Arlene pulled her hair into a messy bun as she traveled stealthily past the school. She couldn't help but glance up at the garden. It was under construction as of right now, and Arlene was feeling worse than ever. She still wouldn't admit it, but she didn't. ] "No, Tori. You're not gonna die. I'm not getting beat up again for a Soc." [ Arlene hit the Ravine and looked around, ignoring the drunk and high teenagers that raved the place. ] "Don't fall asleep, I'm coming towards you!" [Arlene ventured into the woods, eventually coming upon the girl and watching her warily. ] "Shit, Tor. Come on, I gotta get you to the hospital."Tori: [ her eyes wanted to close, Tori surprised herself by keeping them open. Sure, she was depressed, life sucked-- or more so she sucked, at trying to be a grown up, take care of herself, and forget about everything at the same time but, she didn't want to die by accident. Laughter passed her dry feeling lips at the other girls words.] "They won't beat you up, I don't even think they all like me that much. Especially after tonight I'm sure I'm too much trouble for them." [Finally though, her phone tipped away from her ear, and she looked up meeting the other girls eyes, she nodded gripping the device, as she tried to slid up the tree, bark scratching her back. She didn't want to do to the hospital but, she was sure they could do something to help her, plus she was scared if she argued, the other girl might just leave her.] "I can't get up myself.. it's like I'm dead weight." [Slurred words made her whimper, and she shut her eyes for a second.] "I wanna go home."
